The capital of the United States contains many different sights and sounds for everyone's tastes. A highly diverse area, it would be considered the most population dense state in the nation if it was one. There are many political landmarks to see in the district such as the White House, Jefferson Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial among many others. Cultural landmarks also abound, with the world-renowned Smithsonian centered in the district.
